Equipment and Tools
Although we began in this business using brute strength, simple tools, and sheer determination to earn peoples trust over the past 15+ years, our success has allowed us to now offer some of the newest, safest, quickest, and yes, coolest equipment available. Tree Care has evolved quickly and now relies on modern tools to make this top 3 most dangerous industry a little bit safer. This industry boils down to one primary issue that determines what decisions are made. Managing risk is what drives this business. There are as many tree companies as there are trees these days and many of them are completely capable of doing fine work. It is the lack of options many companies face that can lead to excessive risk. If a company comes across a job that might be risky given the tools, training, or equipment they have available, it is difficult for many of them to discuss this with the customer or walk away from potential income. It will be up to you to determine if the contractor you choose has the resources and training to get the job done safely. Below is a list of our key equipment.

Requesting a Quote
We use a simple request form that captures key information and begins the quote process. Once you enter the basic information we send a note letting you know we have your information and will be in contact shortly. Of course you are always welcome to call us at 585-734-2420 to begin the process as well. Someone will contact you to set up a time to come look, often this can be the same day. We will ask you if you would like to meet with one of us to review the job to be quoted or for simple jobs, just specify what needs to be done so one of our professionals can come by.
Receiving your Quote
Whether you choose to meet with one of our certified arborists or not, you will receive an email quote that will describe each line item requested with photos to help with your review and prevent misunderstandings. We mark photos on the quote to specify the exact work to be done and insure everything that gets done is exactly what you approved. We will mark any optional services so you can choose only the work you requested as you desire. You will have the option to either approve the proposal or request any changes electronically. Don’t forget to review our Terms and Conditions. Once complete, you will again receive a notice that we have received your approval.
Completing the Job
We will be in contact with you to discuss the best time to schedule the work. Once you approve your quote, we begin the process of determining the best time the complete your project. There are several factors that make picking a date a bit tricky. Weather is obviously unpredictable and depending on the type of work to be done may require us to plan. For example, some jobs should be done during dormancy such as pruning of oak to prevent disease. Others might be affected to high winds, wet ground, traffic, etc. Schedules can also be impacted by storms or snow cover. We work year round and in most weather but sometimes we prioritize emergency work that occurs mostly in the winter and spring stormy season that can delay regular jobs for short periods. When we are close to completion, we will ask you to walk around the property as a final check that everything we did meets or exceeds your expectations. We do not ask for payment in advance (you should be cautious of contractors that ask for a large deposit) but also expect payment when the work is complete. You will receive an invoice by email before we leave that may include “after” photos if appropriate. You might have seen our yard signs in front of a project we recently completed and we will only leave one at your property if you specifically agree. We do not incentivize anyone for leaving a review on Google or Facebook but appreciate anyone that takes the time to write one. We want your 5 Star review but only when we deserve it. If we did not earn 5 Stars, we sincerely ask you let us know what could have been done better so we may rectify this for you.
