Stump Grinding
Stumps can be a nuisance and hazard. With three styles of stump grinders, we can get into tight spots and handle the largest stumps. We grind stumps 6"-12"below grade and if you do not want the chips, we can remove the debris as well as add topsoil and seed.

Emergency Response
We began our business years ago by responding to natural disasters across the country. We have worked for the affected town and city governments to clear the community of hazards and debris. We have also donated our services to communities devastated by tornadoes. From Indiana to Massachusetts, we have made great friends in the worst circumstances making this type of work very rewarding
Firewood
One of the ways we recycle the wood we collect removing trees is by cutting and splitting the best hardwoods. We won't sell the wood until it has been properly seasoned. We use a moisture meter to insure that the wood has had the proper time to season and is dry enough to be safely burned (less than 20% moisture content). The use of unseasoned firewood can lead to dangerous build-up of creosote in your flue and lead to chimney fires.
Extreme Tree & Landscape performed their work quickly, thoroughly and very carefully. All of the staff were hard working and very polite. They all did a wonderful job and I plan on calling them again if I need tree removal.
Top notch job. We recently had 3 large spruce trees and an ancient large apple tree removed. The evergreens were located in a tight spot requiring climbing to drop them with care, avoiding a fence, sewer line, and neighbors house. The work was completed promptly and professionally for a very reasonable price. Stumps were ground and the yard was cleaned up in top notch fashion.
These guys are dependable and do a great job. Best company I ever had to do our yard. We live 4 miles south of Bloomfield, NY. Last year we needed a number of small trees and brush removed, and Extreme did it quickly and economically. Wish all companies were this good.

This is the second time we have used Extreme Tree and Landscape in the past 12 months. The first time was for the removal of 2 trees .
This latest time was for removal of 70 trees that were at risk of falling on structures or in the process of dying. We also needed thinning in our forested area with the cutting of 100 fir trees.
We realized that this project was not for the faint hearted, or for a weekend forester like me. This was for the professionals. Chris, from Extreme Tree, responded to our phone call for an estimate within minutes of our call to the office. He came out the following Saturday to walk the property and discuss what we wanted/needed. We had the estimate on Monday.
When the crew descended on the property, it was clear that all resources needed for this job had been scheduled in advance with everything arriving on time. The workers were courteous and were careful to avoid driving equipment across the septic system and leach field.
When finished, I walked the area and really liked what I saw. The entire area seems more open and useable. I had them leave the logs from the forest thinning. These were neatly stacked for my use or as wildlife habitat in the forest area.
This company gets my thumbs up for their work. I recommend them with no reservations.

This is the 2nd time we’ve used Extreme Tree and Landscape to remove a large tree. This tree removal was quite challenging as the garage was 5 ft on one side and power lines on north and east sides and lastly neighbors yard to the west. Extreme cut tree down with ease and had zero issues. Cleanup was quick and done as limbs came down. Recommend them highly!

Ground down 37 stumps for a very reasonable price and were done in less than 4 hours. Minimal clean up.

I am very satisfied with the work that Extreme tree did at a rental property I own. Very good experience from sales all the way through completion. The sales person (Dan) was extremely knowledgeable and really helped me with calculating the scope of the job. From an execution standpoint they went beyond my expectations and did a couple of small extra stump grindings that we did not originally scope for no additional charge. I highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.
From submitting an inquiry about getting a quote, to the actual tree removal and stump grinding the crew at extreme tree and landscape did a great job at our house in Geneseo. They worked efficiently to get the job completed in one day and did a fair job cleaning up the yard . Would recommend to anyone looking to get tree work done
small job - big service ----- single Norway spruce , tree was approx 60 ft in height, it was in excellent health but was also grabbing the wind and there was a real possibility of it snapping. or tearing out of the ground. Last year i had several "local" companies look at what was needed and required several trees in the immediate area to also be removed for convenience of there equipment --- these folks, agreed to remove a single tree, gave me a price and were here withing days of the contract. Everything was removed leaving not a stick, stump was cut close to ground as i opted to leave it and grind it myself (cost savings) - the crew were pleasent and professional -- they knew exactly what they were doing and did it well

Extreme returned calls and emails, showed up on-site when they promised and completed the work agreed to. A follow up phone call was made to me to ensure we were satisfied. There was a little issue with equipment and the owner showed up to help get the work done. Will call again and refer to my friends.
Had a great experience with the service quality of Extreme Tree. Got a quote. Set a date. They showed up on time, reviewed the goal for my dangerous tree, got to work. They moved quickly but never risking. All cleaned up and gone. Lawn is fine, tree ought to last another decade. And I don't have to call the other tree services who told me to call them in the Spring and maybe.....

We had three trees and a very large area of dense brush removed. Two of the trees were dead, dangerous and in great need of being taken down. No one else in the area seemed to have the capability or the equipment needed to take the job on. Big thanks to Chris and crew for being up to the challenge. They also cleaned up everything nicely. Highly recommended.

The people from Extreme Tree are excellent. They demonstrate their focus on high quality service by keeping any property damage to almost non-existent. Their crane truck that took the tree down was awesome. I was impressed with how efficient the operator and crane worked. The whole crew worked as a team and were all positive and pleasant. If I attempted to take this tree down it would have taken me a few days and a lot of damage lawn, they did it in 2-1/2 hours!!

Extreme Tree removed 3 large red oaks that were between our home and Seneca lake front. It is a very confining area and required lifting most of it over the house. They did just an outstanding job in every way. They responded to all my questions and did everything they said they would. Feel very fortunate that we found this company. We needed to have a large maple tree removed, and it was located near power lines, and was on a grade. Extreme Tree responded promptly to our request for an estimate to have the tree removed, determined the best plan for the removal given the challenges associated with the location of the tree, scheduled the removal in a timely manner, arrived punctually on the scheduled date, and took great care to set up mats, etc. to protect the yard from the removal equipment and tree branches.
